Quarry Park & The Dingle Garden

The Quarry is Shrewsbury’s vast 29-acre parkland, with The Dingle Garden at its core. This floral masterpiece was created by renowned gardener Percy Thrower, boasting ornamental flowerbeds, lush grassland, manicured lawns, dramatic rockeries, well-groomed shrub beds and charming water features. The Dingle Garden is home to the world-famous annual Shrewsbury Flower Show, which sees the gardens come alive with more than 3 million blooms and some top-class entertainment.

David Austin Rose Gardens

Nestled in the heart of the Shropshire countryside, the award-winning David Austin Rose Gardens house the National Collection of English Roses. The 2-acre gardens are divided into 6 areas, with 6000 roses of 700 varieties to discover – including The Lion Garden, with its four long borders of shrub roses and herbaceous perennials, and The Long Garden, with its an amazing collection of old roses.
